Our Guide of the Month for August is our new guide Chase!

What do you like about working for City Brew Tours, and how long have you worked here?

I get to talk a lot and am constantly exposed to new people! I’ve been with CBT since mid-July 2019

What beer is in your fridge/cellar right now?

Mostly varieties of IPAs and Lefthand’s Milk Stout

What’s something new you’ve learned about beer in the past week?

What we know as a “Radler” (lemonade and beer) translates to “cyclist” in german. Cyclists in Germany wanted beers while cycling but didn’t want to get too loaded so they would ask for a “cyclist’s beer” or Radler.

What is your favorite thing about living and working in Boston?

It really doesn’t have that large of a city footprint. So while it is a big city, it still feels “smallish” and not entirely overwhelming.

What type of music do you enjoy?

Everything except this new country/pop bastardization.

What has been one of the funniest moments you’ve experienced while working at City Brew Tours?

Guests who were strangers competing to see who could do the rap portion of Moana’s “You’re Welcome” the best.

What are two items on your bucket list?

Ski in Switzerland and have a boxing match with a kangaroo.

What is your favorite project that you are currently working on outside of work?

Training my three-legged Australian Shepard!

What advice would you give to those wanting to enter the craft beverage industry?

Try EVERYTHING and keep track of what you are trying.
