Great Lakes Brewing Company (GLBC) was founded in 1988 by brothers Patrick and Daniel Conway in Cleveland, Ohio. Independent and employee-owned, GLBC is known for its award-winning portfolio of fresh, balanced, and flavorful beers with names and artwork that tell stories of the Great Lakes region. Since its founding, GLBC has remained a principle-centered brewery with a “triple bottom line” philosophy, balancing financial responsibility with social and environmental responsibility. GLBC’s production brewhouse was once the site of the historic Leonard Schlather Brewing Company’s grain storage and stables, connecting it to Cleveland’s rich brewing tradition. Ohio’s original craft brewery is known for its iconic brewpub where guests can enjoy a fresh, flavorful meal featuring locally sourced ingredients, and produce from GLBC’s two farms. Here you’ll always find GLBC’s classic year-round and seasonal beers on tap alongside a rotating mix of pub exclusive beers crafted in GLBC’s original 7-barrel system, and a mix of experimental 2-barrel pilot brews and rare barrel-aged treats.
