In 2008, Evil Genius founders Luke Bowen and Trevor Hayward\u2014then accounting classmates at Villanova University\u2014took a long, calculating look at the recession-ravaged economy and thought pursuing their brewing passion sounded better at the time than pursuing traditional post-college careers. Their journey took them from Indiana to New York to Connecticut where they found partners in Thomas Hooker Brewing Company, a brewery as enthusiastic about creating quality craft beer as Luke and Trevor.

Evil Genius’ 15 barrel brewhouse opened in Philly in 2017. It acts as their “lab” for concocting all sorts of new recipes and experimental one-off batches of beer as well as some of the best names for brews that the industry has ever seen!<\/p>\n
