We operate rain, shine, and snow as long as the roads are safe and we have met our minimum to run the tour.<\/div>\n

Changes and cancellations are free up to 72 hours<\/strong> before the tour. Ticket insurance allows you to make changes or cancel up to\u00a03 hours<\/strong>\u00a0before the tour,\u00a0and we will reschedule or reimburse you for your full tour ticket price (minus the booking fee and insurance fee).\u00a0Insurance can only be purchased when making your initial reservation, and cannot be added after the fact.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Could my tour be cancelled?<\/p>\n

Not likely, but it is possible. In the event of severe weather or a lack of tour-goers, the tour may be canceled.<\/p>\n

In the event of inclement weather, the decision to cancel will be made by Brew Tours Staff at least 12 hours before the start of the tour. If roads are fair and our brewery partners are open, we make every effort to run our tours as scheduled.\u00a0 If you are unable to travel due to inclement weather, please give us a call at 215-866-2337 to discuss your options. We will not be able to issue full refunds without the purchase of ticket insurance, but we may be able to find you another tour option in the future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Where do your tours pick up?<\/p>\n

Our Signature Tour’s<\/strong>\u00a0pick up spot is at 1227 Filbert St across the street from the Maggiano\u2019s. The van will depart right at the time listed, so recommend arriving 15 minutes early to allow for time to check-in! Bear in mind we do not have a storefront. You will be dropped off at this same location.<\/p>\n

Our Philadelphia Hops & History Tour Walking Tour<\/strong> meets outside The Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site located at 532 N 7th St, Philadelphia, PA 19123. The nearest public transit is the Spring Garden subway stop on either the Market-Frankford or Broad Street Line. Buses 43, 47 and 47M also drop off nearby. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check with your guide.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Why do I have to wear closed-toed shoes?<\/p>\n

All guests must wear closed-toe shoes to participate in the tour. This is a safety precaution that the breweries themselves are required to enforce, therefore, no exceptions can be made. If you are taking a tour during the summer months, please plan accordingly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Yes, we can accommodate most dietary restriction. Please inform us regarding the nature of your restrictions or allergies when booking your tour!<\/span><\/p>\n

A note on gluten: Typically, beer is not gluten-free. Some of our tour stops do from time to time offer gluten-free options, however, we cannot guarantee their availability. Gluten-free guests should consider our non-drinker ticket, so they can purchase cider or gluten-free beer when available.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

No need to worry about choosing your beers at each stop on the Signature Tours<\/strong>. You’ll receive a handpicked selection of local craft beer curated by our beer expert guides.<\/p>\n

On our Philadelphia Hops and History Walking Tour<\/strong>, your expert beer guide will curate a crafted flight for your at two of our stops, and guests will be able to choose a full pour of a flagship beer at the final destination – the best of both worlds!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In order for us to run a tour, we need a minimum of 4 participants for driving tours, and 3 for walking tours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The nearest hotel is the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, on the same block as our pick up for both the Original Philly Brew Tour and the Sip of Philly Brew Tour!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

What is the difference between the public and private tour?<\/p>\n

We offer 3 different public tours which you can read more about here<\/a>. Because private tours are personalized, there is a sliding scale of differences between them vs. public tours. Generally, we suggest private tours for corporate events, bachelor\/bachelorette parties, and other groups of over 10 guests. We do not recommend driving to our tours. Whenever possible, please use a car service or public transportation to get to your pick up spot. If you must drive, for Original and Sip Tours<\/strong> parking is available at the Autopark at the Gallery Mall, 44 North 9th St. For our Philadelphia Hops and History Walking Tour<\/strong>, street parking is available along 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th or Spring Garden Ave. There are also parking lots for Target and Yards brewing company located between 5th and 6th.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You can simply show up to the pick-up spot a few minutes early, with a valid form of ID and closed-toed shoes. You do not need a physical ticket or to print out your confirmation email, just give your name to the guide!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?<\/p>\n

Many of our stops are wheelchair accessible on the Original and Sip Tours. However, our seated passenger vans can only accommodate folding wheelchairs on private tours. All of our Hops and History stops are wheelchair accessible. This tour includes traveling a distance of up to 1.2 miles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Can someone under 21 attend?<\/p>\n

You must be 21 or older and show proper identification in order to participate in our tour, even if you\u2019ve purchased a non-drinker ticket.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Should I bring anything special for the Hops & History Walking Tour?<\/p>\n

The Philadelphia Hops and History Walking Tour is rain or shine and includes time outside between stops. Please dress for the weather, wear comfortable closed-toed shoes, and bring an umbrella if warranted!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We often include prepaid gratuity for parties of 4 or more. If you think your guide did a great job, we suggest tipping $15 per person.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
