FAQs

INSER YOUR OWN FAQs – PLEASE REVIEW AND UPDATE ACCORDINGLY!

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! You can purchase a gift certificate for a specific tour or a dollar amount. Visit our Gift Certificates page for more information.

Could my tour be cancelled?

While rare, cancellations can occur. If severe weather or a lack of participants prevents the tour from running, we will notify you at least 12 hours in advance.

If you cannot attend due to weather conditions, please call us at 617-453-8687 to discuss options. Full refunds require ticket insurance, but we may be able to reschedule you for a future tour.

Where do your tours meet?

Our meeting point is 26 North St, Boston, MA 02109, in front Bostonian Hotel Boston. Tours depart promptly at the time listed, so we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to check-in. Look for your guide wearing a Flavor Walk lanyard.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Given the nature of the tour and the set menus at each venue, accommodating dietary restrictions is unlikely, but we will do our best with advance notice. Please share any dietary restrictions when booking, and we’ll make every effort to assist where possible.

Do I need to tip my guide?

Gratuity is often included for private tours or groups of 4 or more. If you feel your guide did a great job, we suggest tipping $10-$15 per person.

*What is the cancellation, rescheduling, refund policy?

Our tours operate rain or shine as long as conditions are safe and the tour minimum is met.

Changes and cancellations are free up to 7 days before the tour. Ticket insurance allows you to make changes or cancel up to 3 hours before the tour, with the option to reschedule or receive a full refund (minus booking and insurance fees). Insurance must be purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added later.

Where can I park?

We recommend using public transportation or rideshare services to reach our meeting spot. If you choose to drive, parking is available at the Haymarket Center Garage, located at 99 Sudbury St Boston, MA 02109. By purchasing items from the market and getting your parking ticket validated, you can park for up to 3 hours for just $3.

Can someone under 21 attend?

Yes! Unlike our alcohol-focused tours, our Flavor Walk Food Tours welcome participants of all ages. However, certain add-ons (like alcohol pairings) are only available to guests 21 and older.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

Many of our stops are wheelchair accessible. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can ensure the best experience.
