Designed to showcase the flavors, stories, and culture that make the Alamo City so memorable, this tour will explore the food traditions that shape our region — from Tex-Mex and barbecue to the bold flavors of the Southwest. Our tours operate rain or shine as long as conditions are safe, and the tour minimum is met.
Changes and cancellations are free up to 3 days before the tour. Ticket protection allows you to make changes or cancel up to 3 hours before the tour, with the option to reschedule or receive a full refund (minus booking and insurance fees). Ticket protection must be purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added later.
While rare, cancellations can occur. If severe weather or a lack of participants prevents the tour from running, we will notify you at least 12 hours in advance.
If you cannot attend due to weather conditions, please call us at 210-960-8868 to discuss options. Full refunds require ticket insurance, but we may be able to reschedule you for a future tour.
Our walking tours require a minimum of 4 participants to run. If the minimum is not met, we will contact you in advance to reschedule or offer alternative options.
Yes! Unlike our alcohol-focused tours, our Flavor Walk Food Tours welcome participants of all ages. However, certain add-ons (like alcohol pairings) are only available to guests 21 and older.
Yes! You will be able to purchase a gift certificate for a specific tour or a dollar amount.
Our meeting point is still being determined. Tours depart promptly at the listed time, so we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to check in. Look for your guide wearing a Flavor Walk lanyard.
Given the nature of the tour and the set menus at each venue, accommodating dietary restrictions is unlikely, but we will do our best with advance notice. Please share any dietary restrictions when booking, and we’ll make every effort to assist where possible.
Public tours follow a set itinerary and group size, while private tours are customizable. Private tours can include premium dining options, alcohol pairings, and tailored stops. Private tours are ideal for corporate events, family outings, or special celebrations.
Gratuity is often included for private tours or groups of 4 or more. If you feel your guide did a great job, we suggest tipping $10-$15 per person.
Generally, we recommend using public transportation or rideshare services to reach our meeting spot. Parking options will be updated soon.
Many of our stops are wheelchair accessible. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can ensure the best experience.
