Dapple is a British-style Dark Mild Ale crafted by OEC Brewing, located in Oxford, Connecticut. This ale is brewed using a traditional infusion mash that combines Maris Otter Pale Ale and Crystal malts, with a touch of roasted barley to enhance its depth. East Kent Goldings (EKG) hops are added during the boil in their copper kettle, imparting a subtle earthy aroma. Following an open ale fermentation, Dapple matures in OEC’s cellars for several weeks, resulting in a smooth and well-rounded flavor profile. See if you can pick up on the earthy hop and malty aromas, complemented by flavors of coffee, cherry, toffee, and roasted nuts.
