Digital Marketing / E-Commerce Analyst - Accepting applications until October 13th

As an Ecommerce Analyst you’ll research our customer funnel, site behavior, and sales conversions to provide our team accurate data to make decisions in a high speed environment. You will build dashboards and reports as well as provide analyses of marketing experiments. Success in this role will identify issues and opportunities with marketing channels, site experience and/or product shortcomings. You will prioritize which hypotheses need to be tested and improve the team’s understanding of experiment results and ultimately yield more sales. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager and will collaborate remotely with coworkers across a number of departments.

You are proactive, inquisitive and love to look for the root cause. You believe strategic decisions need to be backed up by data and you love statistics. You are able to set deadlines and follow through but you don’t take life too seriously. You love beer and the industry surrounding the craft explosion. You are an expert communicator and wouldn’t have trouble conveying your ideas and results to someone whether it was on their first day or their tenth year in the organization. You aren’t intimidated by a fast paced, constantly changing work environment and collaborating on problem-solving tasks is a comfortable endeavor for you remotely. You don’t have an issue speaking up if you have found a better way to do something or you want to pursue a new investigation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic planning, development and coordination of all marketing initiatives to promote CBT Group’s brands and company initiatives
  • Work with the Marketing Team to plan and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
  • Routinely analyze customer acquisition funnel and present recommendations for optimization
  • Optimize PPC campaigns and budgets through Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads
  • Plan, conduct and analyze A/B tests and UX experiments to optimize conversions
  • Conduct qualitative research using tools such as heat maps, form analytics, user surveys, etc and present findings to team in easy to understand or visual manner
  • Research digital channels not yet being used by our brands and recommend best options for implementation
  • Other marketing tasks and projects as directed by the Marketing Manager

 

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in ecommerce/digital analytics
  • Experience conducting and analyzing a/b tests and familiarity with statistical concepts around experimental design and analysis required
  • Expert understanding of Google Analytics and Tag Manager
  • Knowledge of PPC channels including Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager
  • Experience with data handling/processing languages such as Python/SQL/R preferred
  • Bachelor’s in Digital Marketing, Ecommerce, Data Science, Statistics or similar
  • As all current sites are built on WordPress, preference will be given to candidates with basic experience on the platform

 

Compensation:

  • Full Time, Monday to Friday, Work-from-Home
  • Base Salary $55,000-60,000 depending on experience

Tour Operations Coordinator - Boston or Washington DC

Tour Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a driven, goal-oriented, self starter to manage multiple City Brew Tours regional markets. The Tour Operations Coordinator is responsible for planning all aspects of upcoming tours in the assigned cities, including itinerary confirmation, hiring charter vehicles and ordering catering. They also administer other aspects of the cities’ operations such as adhering to budget, furthering personal relationships between CBT and featured brewery affiliates, training of new staff and development and evaluation of current staff. Tour Operations Coordinators report to the Experiences Manager and have direct reports from many part-time Beer Guides in each assigned city. The selected employee can live in and work from any of the following areas: Boston, MA or Washington, DC.

You’re as comfortable talking to someone 1-on-1 as you are speaking to a group of 50. You’re comfortable working from home, at a brewery, or on the road. You enjoy having the security of a steady job, but don’t like or want the rigidity of a 9-5.

Duties:

  • Render tours as lead Beer Guide in assigned city 
  • Accurately plan all itineraries, optimize tour times, and confirm stop reservations for public tours, private tours, and beer events in each city 
  • Reserve and allocate all transportation for upcoming tours in each city, as well as catering/BEOs if required 
  • Manage part-time Beer Guides including scheduling, staff levels, time off requests, team building and trainings 
  • Manage brewery and vendor relationships, onboard new affiliates and vendors 
  • Verify guide reporting (tour timecards, vehicle safety checks) and correct deficiencies
  • Create and implement new product initiatives and identify improvements to current operations
  • Attend daily huddle, weekly forecast meeting, and regularly scheduled team meeting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a role where you managed others
  • Demonstrate experience creating agendas, itineraries or planning meetings or events
  • Have extreme attention to detail with superior organization skills
  • Be a rock star managing your time and other’s time
  • Possess strong written communication skills
  • Approach tasks with a sales-minded, self-starter mentality
  • Enjoy being a team player and derive energy from being collaborative
  • Solve problems quickly and creatively
  • Come to work with high energy and be capable of engaging and managing large groups
  • Excel in a fast paced, constantly changing work environment
  • Be comfortable driving a 15 passenger van through the city
  • Understand the brewing process from grain to glass
  • Have a working knowledge of beer industry trends and beer events
  • Be able to use Google Sheets and Gmail for completion of the majority of responsibilities
  • Accept direction in learning new skills, new responsibilities and the use specific cloud based software the business relies on

Compensation:

  • Base + Gratuities + Commission + Bonus
  • Combined compensation $45,000 – $70,000

Travel Required: 15-30%

Driver’s License and clean driving record (no DUIs) required. No CDL needed.

Physical Requirements: You will be required to safely operate a motor vehicle. This includes the ability to sit for durations of up to 60 minutes at a time while driving. You may also need to sit for longer durations and look at a computer screen while working in your home office. You will be required to stand and walk for durations of at least 45 minutes at each tour stop and you will also need the mobility to pour beer from pitchers to glasses at various locations.

We are seeking responsible, charismatic, high energy, and witty guides for full-time work! As a Tour and Experience Guide, you would be responsible for leading educational beer and food experiences through both our City Brew Tours and Unboxed Experiences brands. Tour and Experience Guides are responsible for entertaining groups of beer & food enthusiasts by sharing their knowledge with passion. 

This is a full time position with 32 hours guaranteed weekly. Unboxed Tour and Experience Guides must live in the metro area of either Boston, or DC and can work a variety of shifts that can range from 2 to 6+ hours. Our busiest time during the week is Thursday – Saturday. Nights and/or weekend availability is a must. Tour and Experience Guides report to the Experiences Manager.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full Time, Hourly (32+ Hours weekly)
  • $18-$20 per hour, DOE + Gratuities 
  • 401k with company match

Beer Guides report to the Tour Operations Coordinator. Beer Guides start at $18 an hour, depending on location, and are eligible for Gratuities, Bonus Pay, and a 401k plan.

Warehouse Lead Backup

We are currently seeking a dedicated, outgoing, and responsible employee to work in direct support of our Warehouse Lead. This position will assist the Lead in order preparation, picking, packing, inventory, and other tasks as part of our fulfillment team in Williston, VT and Vancouver, WA. This position will also serve as the Lead should the Warehouse Lead be absent. Leadership skills are necessary for this position. This is a part time position, mornings from Monday to Fridays, 20 + hours per week. 

Fulfillment Associate

We are currently seeking an employee to work in order preparation, picking, packing, inventory, and other tasks as part of our fulfillment team in Williston, VT and Vancouver, WA. This is a part time position, mornings from Monday to Fridays, ~20 hours per week. Additional hours will be available during peak weeks and for the holiday season.
