Rob – City Coordinator & Beer Guide
Rob moved from Northern NJ 10 years ago, to continue what is now been a 20+ year career in broadcasting, but the true beauty of the move was starting a long and beautiful love affair with Vermont Craft Beer! According to Untappd (RobInNJ), in the last 10 years, Rob tried over 1,400 different unique beers, because he LOVES trying new breweries, and new brews. When he’s not touring or enjoying great beer, he can be heard all around the UVM campus broadcasting various athletic events, homebrewing his own delightful batches of craft beer or just hanging with his wife and 3 amazing kids! His go-to style of beer is New England IPAs as well as Imperial Stouts!
Matt – Beer Guide
Matt has been working with City Brew Tours in Vermont since 2010. A Vermont Native and an avid outdoorsman, Matt has been home-brewing for 10 year and also grows his own hops at his camp in N. Vermont!
Favorite Beer: Munich Dunkel Lager, Hefeweizen, and India Pale Ales
Hannah – Beer Guide
Hannah made her way over to Burlington to pursue her degree at UVM, but found her true home in the craft breweries across the county. The local brews became a staple in all of her hobbies – after all what’s a good day of skiing without a good après-ski? If she’s not in the lab or on a brew tour, you can find her curled up with her cat and her favorite beer, “Sick Day” by Long Trail Brewing Co.
John – Beer Guide
John moved to Burlington for his wife’s career (ahhh true love) about a year ago. He used to be a scientist in a biotech lab in NJ, but now he’s 100% focused on switching careers to open up my own small brewery one day. He has been home brewing for about six years, and he is in several brew clubs and associations. He is studying for his Cicerone exam and taking beer classes at UVM. He LOVES all things beer.
