With a little bit of vision and dedication, a former Nash Rambler car dealership in Knoxville, Iowa was transformed into the original location of Peace Tree Brewing Company. They held their grand opening in that old, brick building in March 2010, and since then Peace Tree has been following their passion to brew great beer and expanding to include multiple taprooms. Their name, Peace Tree Brewing Company, honors an historic grand sycamore that was located around Red Rock, IA. It was under this tree that Native Americans and fur traders would meet and treaties would be made; and with a nod to that legend, Peace Tree Brewing Company hopes that their beer brings friends and strangers alike together.
