High school friends, Tom Foster and Francis Smith, started brewing in college together at the University of Maryland with fellow high school classmate, Colin Marshall, joining them after finishing college in Vermont. They brought several years of experience together when founding Diamondback Beer in 2014. The Baltimore natives brew all their flavorful beers with the goal to make them appreciated by all drinkers, from connoisseurs to new craft beer consumers. Located at the base of a huge old smoke stack at McHenry Row in Locust Point, the brewery has outdoor seating, games, and food trucks to go along with their three “core beers” of Azacca Blonde Ale, Green Machine IPA, and Omar’s O.P.A as well as a rotating lineup of seasonal and one-off craft beers.
