Trillium Brewing Company has several locations in Greater Boston. While you cannot currently find Trillium Brewing Company on a Boston Brew Tour, it is a brewery that we highly recommend visiting if you are in the area! Trillium originally opened in March 2013 through support of family, friends, and three employees. That small brewery has since developed into an exciting venue of collaboration and creativity.
They used to fill growlers at their Fort Point retail location. Now they have a new space in Boston complete with a restaurant and brewery. This location at 50 Thomson Place has a retail location where their retail employees sell packaged product to go and fill growlers. The new location also has a full brewpub complete with food and beer, and on site production.
The brewery founder’s JC and Esther Tetreault are great people making amazing beers. They brew everything from their flagship Fort Point Pale Ale to exotic sours. In the summer months be sure to check out their beer garden on the Greenway, but you won’t find any retail staff there.

Trillium is grounded in the concept of a New England farmhouse brewery, using local ingredients whenever possible.
Their flagship location is in the vibrant Fort Point neighborhood. In this South Boston location they utilize practices representing both tradition and modern re-invention. It is said that they find inspiration in the heritage of farmhouse brewing methods. Even with that traditional method they actively employ novel concepts and technologies.
In December 2015, Trillium opened a larger production facility and taproom in Canton, MA. At this location they significantly increased production for greater availability and expanded variety.
