Punch Buggy Brewing Co. was born out of four friends’ obsession for brewing. Pat, John, Matt, and Rob have been brewing together since college, and when they wanted to further influence Philly’s craft beer scene, they opened Punch Buggy in 2019. Of course, the guys didn’t simply throw open the doors to a turnkey brewery. The building was nothing more than a shell and required a lot of vision and dedication; however, it not only allowed them to have fun with the brewery’s aesthetic, it also allowed them to be a part of the American St. revitalization.
Punch Buggy’s mission it to brew and serve the freshest, best quality beer for all guests to enjoy in the taproom’s artistic environment. It also serves up a selection of comfort classics such as Bavarian pretzels and dips, hot dogs, and grilled cheese sandwiches like in the photo above (we see you eyeing that sammie, pigeons).
