Saint Benjamin Brewing Company is a three-barrel nano brewery operating in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. The brewery is located in the historic carriage house and stables of the now defunct Theo Finkenauer Brewery. Brewers Tim Patton and Christina Burris create their interpretation of classic styles with modern blends and flavors like the India Cream Ale and Lavender Saison. The name “Saint Benjamin” is a reference to founding father, Benjamin Franklin, an avid home brewer and creator of the city’s fire companies, so it makes sense that the brewery was devised in Tim Patton’s 190-year old home, a converted Philly firehouse. With rich history at its core and new twists on old favorites, Saint Benjamin Brewing Co is a must-see. In addition to their delicious brews, Saint Ben’s offers farm to table grub, which have been prepared with the beer drinking experience in mind. Hence why we make it one of our featured lunch or dinner destinations!
